Located in Udawalawe, NATURE HOUSE offers rustic accommodation with free WiFi access available at all areas. Rooms are comfortable, clean and fitted with a spacious private terrace. This place is amazing! It’s definitely the best stay for our three-week round trip . I can only recommend it. We booked a Standard double room , Which was their basic category. But it was fantastic! The room was super clean , which is not always in Sri Lanka. They had everything more than we expected like air conditioning, hot water , mosquito nets , a fan , tea coffee, and even pool towels were provided in the room. Also best value for the money. Unbeatable! The Wi-Fi was great in the room and restaurant. Pool area also had a another Wi-Fi which was good. The pool was our favorite super Large,clean like the rest of the property surrounded with nature great to relax and in the pool even have kind of jacuzzi that you can get a massage in the water :) We also booked a Half day 7 Hour safari tour through them and it was fantastic . Price was also very good compared to other offers we had . We saw many elephants, birds and many other animals . Had a great time with the breakfast inside the park .The driver explained everything to us and was very experienced. He didn’t bother animals or go with too many jeeps . If you’re going on a safari definitely go with the hotel. The owner was very friendly, professional and had lots of experience in the industry. The rest of the staff also very helpful and available always with a smile . Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay ! We‘ll definitely come back . Highly recommend this place!

Located within 16 km of Udawalawe National Park in Udawalawe, Forest Edge Safari Villa features accommodation with seating area. The host was super friendly and humble, the place was really spacious and clean and the view of nature and the monkeys was entertaining! Had such a good breakfast. Janith also helped me to go to the ATM and showed me the good places to have dinner. I also would recommend going to do the safari with the owner because he is very passionate about it! There enough restaurants walking distance, I also ended up walking to the water reservoir and it was a nice walk.

Minden nagyon tetszett a szálláson: a tágas szoba és fürdő, a tisztaság, a kedves és segítőkész házigazdák. Amit kiemelnék, az a tulajok segítőkészsége: leszervezték az utunkat Ellaba, kérésre ebédet főztek csak nekünk kettőnknek, még arra is figyeltek, hogy gluténmentes legyen az étel; a 6 órás safari, Passindu vezetésével, aki egy nagyszerű fiú, innen is a legjobbakat kívánjuk neki és családjának; és az ételek: ennyire ízletes és sokféle ételeket nem ettünk az utazásunk során, mint itt.

Jungle View River Camping has river views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Udawalawe, 15 km from Udawalawe National Park. This guest house offers a garden. What a great place. The set up is beautiful. Even better than the photos. Great value for money the most beautiful hosts. We stayed 2 night and had dinner there on one night. The dinner was delicious. We saw fireflies at night in the garden. Our host arranged a safari for us. We loved our stay.

Set 11 km from Udawalawe National Park, La Casa Safari Resort offers accommodation with a terrace, as well as a garden and a bar. Guests staying at this guest house have access to a balcony. This place has been a highlight of my trip to Sri Lanka. The price is reasonable, the location is great, the room was clean, the food is tasty, and the safari is amazing. Above all else though, it’s the staff that made it such an enjoyable experience. They were friendly and attentive, and always went the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay.

Boasting a spa and wellness centre and views of garden, Hasthi Safari Cottage is a recently renovated guest house set in Udawalawe, 16 km from Udawalawe National Park. Dusun and his team made our stay exceptional. The home cooked food was amazing, the cottages have all you need, the backyard allows you to enjoy the nature and relax. the Safari full day was a very memorable experience. Our driver knew exactly how to go off the beaten tracks and to create a unique experience.

With river views, Silent River Cottage is set in Udawalawe and has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. It is situated 16 km from Udawalawe National Park and features room service. The place is run by Amila and his wife. They’re lovely family that will make you feel welcomed and help organizing whatever you may need. Room was clean and dry, it had well working air condition, fridge and hair dryer! Bathrooms were nice and clean too. Good WiFi connection. We bought safari organized by them. It was a bit more expensive to what you can find on the internet but definitely worth it. It included all entrance and car fees + breakfast and lunch. The driver was very nice, not rushing anywhere. And it lasted over 6 hours (in comparison to regular 4h ones). We definitely recommend.
