The room was big and comfortable, a place to sit in the front and the a bedroom attached. Dinner cooked by Suba is fabulous so dont miss out on her rice & curry. They arranged a tuktuk for us so that we were on time for the 4:40 train in the morning. If you come to Mannar, look no further and stay here.

Located in Mannar, Pearl Rest offers accommodation with seating area. This homestay provides free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. It was ok for 2 nights but the size of the room was very small for 2 people. It is wrong in the description. It would be nice to correct it so the guests know what to expect. There is a balcony but no chairs so I don't understand the point of having a balcony without chairs. We didn't want to be sitting in the small room so we were sitting outside on the terrace floor! Not very comfortable.
