Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). I thought this would be just a nice sleepover place and nothing more but it is so beautiful and has a very unique traditional feel that it made our stay on the island so much better. You even get free breakfast/dinner if you don't have time to eat outside and depart early in the morning/ don't manage to fetch a table in a reataurant in the evening because there is limited amount of restaurants that are open in late evening or early morning. The whole house is very authentic and the family that runs the place also offers a little souvenir shop with super cheap prices of local souvenirs, some even locally handmade. Thr staff is super nice and the xommom areas welcoming to spend the evenings in game/living room. Also had beautiful garden and amazing views from the rooms right on the sea

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. The view was amazing, the dinner was very varied and tasty, it had around 10 different small dishes with different types of Japanese foods. We also went to onsen that was clean and enjoyable. The shuttle bus was very convenient - hotel offering an evening ride to see the Torii gate lighten up and the we went there again in the morning after checking out and once we were done sightseeing hotel delivered our luggage to the port and we went back to mainland.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. This was our favorite hotel in Japan! We stayed only one night to get to see the island of Miyajima a bit more, and staying here was such a nice experience. In particular, the dinner at the hotel was so special and delicious! You need to message them to make the reservation some days in advance, but they were always very responsive. The facilities of the hotel were really great: the public baths, the rooftop terrace, the footbath café. Finally, the staff were all incredibly nice and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

Bed&Cafe Onzo オンゾー se nachází v destinaci Onomiči a nabízí ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm. Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine je 24 km daleko. Cafe Onzo is small but comfortable and the host makes extra effort to give you a good stay. The cat is friendly. The location is very central in Setoda township so you can walk to ferries, the art gallery, the Kosanji shrine and hill of hope, and to local restaurants.

Staying in a 100+ year old traditional Japanese home was an amazing experience, and the fact that we had the whole house to yourself made it even better. In addition, the host was so kind and helpful and really went out of his way to make our stay memorable. He gave us great recommendations for dinner and helped us make reservations. The room was very spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and every amenity you could possible need was provided.

Kitchen facilities (including rice cooker) enabled us to cook & washing machine was handy too. Fast & free wifi. Host was very responsive & helpful with clear instructions on how to access the property. Best place we've stayed in Japan.

The apartment is pleasant, bright, and modernly furnished. The beds were extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. There’s a tram close by that takes you to the train station in just a few minutes. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Communication with the host was excellent—they responded immediately whenever we had a question. Great value for money.
