A lovely, clean, and well-equipped apartment in an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from the promenade. The owner was very friendly and even left some treats for the children in the room. We had access to a washing machine, complete with washing liquid provided. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

We stayed here last year and loved it so much that we had to return (which we never do, this was literally the first time we booked the same place again). Everything is excellent: property manager Mira is amazing, the place is very well maintained (clean, everything's working, helpful room service), beds are very comfy, a lovely pebble beach is less than a minute away... And if you feel like hiking, there are plenty of cool trails around, and Biokovo is ruggedly gorgeous. In a nutshell, can't recommend Amare highly enough ❤️

That is mostly due to its host - Petra, who is the best! The apartment has many facilities plus additional things directly from the host like water and desserts. It is very clean, very modern, it has everything that you need for a vacation, whether it is short or long. Also, there is a short path to the town, so it is very near to the center and the beach, but still hidden in the quieter part of Makarska. I have never seen a host so dedicated to its guests. If all the hosts are one third of Petra, there will be no need for negative reviews on Booking. I had the feeling that I was staying at my favorite cousin's home, and I felt safe, which never happened before, anywhere. Thumbs up Petra, keep up the good work!

The apartment has family rooms. Well situated, only 100m from harbour, bars and restaurants and only 500m from the beach. Modern, well looked after apartment with everything needed even down to dishwasher and washer tablets! Hosts very welcoming and showed us how everything thing worked including the excellent air conditioning in every room. Plus gave us 2 sets of keys for the apartment incase we did things separately. Would well recommend for a stay in Makarska.

Our host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. It was truly a lovely and relaxing time. We’ll definitely come back again!
