I reccomend this stay in Las Terrenas! The room is very big and clean, located in a nice quiet garden but very very close to the city center and the beach. The hosts are very kind and helpful, we had a couple of small issues but communication was great and they solved them right away! :) They even offered us a welcome drink and gave us some nice suggestions about places to eat in Las Terrenas and some tips on our upcoming trip!

We’ve been coming to Las Terrenas for 20 years and have experienced quite a few accommodations. This year was our first stay at "Casa Barbara". The property is away from the noise and, with only three bungalows, it's peaceful and clearly arranged. Drinking water is automatically refilled by the host and not charged. Electricity, internet, and hot water are stable. Even though the beach is only a 5-minute walk away, the pool is a great alternative on cloudy days. There are plenty of shaded lounging and seating areas, and coffee and cold water are also available by the pool. The cleaning lady does an excellent job. The kitchen is very well equipped by Dominican hotel standards—we didn’t miss a thing during our two-week stay. After this experience, Casa Barbara will be the only place we stay.

David himself is incredibly welcoming and personable, making our stay even more memorable. I've already made promises to return with friends to share the experience. The private beach, stunning terrace, and breathtaking infinity pool are just a few highlights that make this place truly special. A heartfelt thank you to David for creating such a soulful retreat.

Super spacious place, with trees around and a nice swimming pool. Communication upon arrival was excellent, it was definitely one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip.

Beautiful family owned property, super clean, comfortable and with very large beds. The bed on the terrace was fantastic idea for relaxation, super quiet area at night, safe and comfortable rooms and parking area, central location near by the main beach and the restaurants in the village. We would definitely stay there again if we are ever in Las Galleras again.

It's like glamping in the jungle with a beautiful beach a short walk away The chef is real Italian and a little friendly cat and a little dog visited us every day. Sarah is an exceptional hostess

Tento hotel se nachází v Las Terrenas, 40 minut jízdy od Mezinárodního letiště El Catey de Samana, a nabízí venkovní bazén a ubytování v luxusních apartmá a apartmánech s kuchyňským vybavením. I came back to this hotel a second time after 9 years. I stayed here for a week with my husband to kite surf. It is very close to the kite surf beach and schools (walking distance) and also right by the center of town where all the restaurants/bars are. The hotel is beautiful and spacious, nice pool area with bar, the rooms are very spacious and super clean, breakfast is really nice and is served until 11:30 a.m., no mosquitoes... we absolutely loved it and will come here again!
