Three hundred metres from the cathedral and just a bit more to the castle, with a dozen pubs and restaurants on the way. A private carpark out the back and great food and rooms inside. What more could one want?

The units are equipped with heating facilities. As we arrived to a warm welcome we immediately felt comfortable in our surroundings. A perfect peaceful location situated just outside Bottesford. Our double room was clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated with a nice comfy bed. The view from our room overlooked the large garden and pond at the back with a cottage and cattle sheds to the left. Breakfast was very nice with cereal, fruit, toast and full english on offer whilst sitting at a large communal table surrounded by lovely interesting antiques. Richard and Helen are very friendly, lovely people, and we enjoyed their hospitality.

Crown & Anchor, a property with a bar, is located in Grantham, 44 km from Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, 45 km from National Ice Centre, as well as 46 km from Nottingham Castle. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the bed and breakfast free of charge. The property is non-smoking and is situated 42 km from Lincoln University. Highly recommend from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, had excellent service, clean, polite, friendly and amazing facilities. The evening we arrived they were fully booked for food but still manage to squeeze us in so we could have some food. The meal was very big , the taste and quality of the food was amazing. If we need to go back up any time, I will definitely rebook here if it’s available. Well done 5 stars all round and thank you so much for making us feel so welcomed xx

The room was great, comfortable bed, very clean room. The location was great too, quiet enough at night but a very short walk to the beach and attractions.
