Katiusca is truly the most sweet, kind, generous, warm, and welcoming host. She literally welcomed us with open arms and was so kind to us from the very first message when we had booked our stay months prior. We feel like we made a new friend! She went out of her way to explain and answer our questions regarding restaurant reservations and activities in the area. She verified times for us for the little train that goes around Bellinzona, which is an adorable little train ride and she gave us tips about the local markets and was so attentive to our every need. She offered us lovely goods from the bakery for breakfast and the vanilla croissant was so delicious and the bread she provided every day for us was some of the best bread we've ever had! And the view from our "Blue Balance" room was absolutely stunning! It had a floor to ceiling window with a gorgeous balcony and we could see the mountains and the town and the castles and there aren't enough woods in the world to say how fabulous the view was and we were able to see from the comfort of our room fireworks on New Year's Eve. The view from the shared kitchen was lovely and we were able to heat some basic things on the stove. There was no microwave but it wasn't necessary for us. She is such a lovely person and gave extra pillows in the room at our request because we were recovering from an injury. She gave us beautiful gifts when we left and offered us fantastic Prosecco when we arrived. All in all it was an extraordinary exceptional stay and we highly recommend it. She is a truly kind warm and welcoming person.

Cuore Alpino is the perfect base to explore the beautiful Valle di Blenio. Easy to reach by public transport and a great starting point to go exploring in various directions. Sara is an incredible host who made the stay extra special: she's super kind, attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and clearly loves what she does. This is also reflected in the house: from the communal spaces to the rooms themselves you can tell a lot of love and care has gone into every detail, there's a lot of character as well as a very high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast is also delicious and locally sourced, and Sara adapted it for us being vegan. 100% recommended to anyone who's thinking about visiting the area, and we'll definitely choose to stay at Cuore Alpino next time we're there.

We really enjoyed staying at this accommodation. The hosts were very kind and lovely, and we felt like we were visiting friends or family. The view is beautiful, the village is quiet and peaceful, and it is truly a refuge for those seeking an immersive experience in the Swiss countryside. The products served at breakfast were produced by the hosts themselves and were very delicious. I hope to return soon!

Boasting a garden and views of river, "CHALET dei FIORI" room & apartment is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Bedretto, 34 km from Devils Bridge. This chalet is a nice experience. The reason why I give a 10/10 is that al standard commercial places become boring over time. This small chalet in the middle of the mountains is the exact opposite. The full wood interior and the low ceiling (I’m 1.83 and nearly touch the ceiling) made it really cosy. The bed is also great.

A recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Mesocco, Bed&Breakfast La Sctalèta features a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They kindly accepted a parcel of dried food for us in advance and even helped us dry our wet tent. We also received extra vegan breakfast options, including vegan Nutella — a lovely touch! The view from La Sctalèta is stunning, and the building itself is truly special: a charming blend of traditional stone grotto and warm, wooden interior. The kitchen was well-equipped, even offering two sizes of Bialetti with fresh ground coffee — perfect for making espresso. Just a heads-up: the accommodation is in the hosts’ garden, so you may encounter their friendly dog and children playing in front of your window. This wasn’t an issue for us at all, and only added to the homely atmosphere.
