The hotel is very clean and convenient overall. The room, the beach, the pool… the bed was I think the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, the bathroom was amazing, wide, clean and practical. The staff was amazing! They were so friendly and all spoke very good English. The beach is really good too. At first I was scared because they warned us there might be jellyfish but we didn’t see any and everyone else was also enjoying the ocean, so I don’t think it’s common. The sunbeds get busy during the day but we always managed to find one. There are really nice restaurants/bars and massage places on the beach too next to the hotel. There is happy hours during the day at the pool bar and you get 1+1 on the drinks! The breakfast was good with selections wide enough. We haven’t tried the hotel’s restaurant but ordered room service once and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a top resort experience and we definitely want to come back.

The new Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort – SHA Plus is an absolute beachfront property situated on Bangsak beach, a long stretch of coastline off the Andaman Sea, just a 90 minute drive from Phuket... Au, Shane, Tum, Baw, Pal and every single staff of them were just amazing, super helpful and always smiling at the customers. We are a family of 5 (parents with 15y, 13y & 9y). I loved how clean is the room and good space of the resort. Pool time and beach walks were our favorites, it would have been more fun if they had a slide and a deeper pool, but it still amazing.

The room was spacious, elegantly designed and had a wonderful view out to sea (we were in a Grand Deluxe close to reception, so the relative height at the top of a hill offered a great vantage point). Breakfast was outstanding with tonnes of vegetarian (and gluten-free) options, which was wonderful as so many Thai breakfasts tend to be so meat-heavy - this was a welcome break. The staff were courteous and friendly without exception, and the a/c in the room managed to keep the room cool despite the humidity outside. Visiting in low season was superb value, and honestly with just a few minutes of rain on one of our three day stay, a June visit is really a no-brainer, especially as nearby Khaolak is so quiet and crowd-free during this time. Walking around the resort is a pleasure - if you're lazy and don't consider walking in lush vegetation to be enjoyable, then go stay somewhere flat.

In all my years in Thailand this is the absolute best hotel I can recommend. This is a true 5 star hotel. The staff is outstanding and the service is exceptional. The breakfast is perfect with everything you could need, and so is the service. Unfortunately only stayed one night this time but will be back soon.

Nice and clean rooms with good A/C. Rooms even kept nice temperature throughout the day. Nice view from bungalow over garden and feels very private despite having neighbors. No noise from the street but still very nice to be close to the city. Only 500m walk to the beach. Restaurant had decent selection of breakfast, but not included.
