Posizionato a Batticaloa, a 300 metri da Spiaggia di Pasikuda, The Dream Inn Guesthouse Passikudah mette a disposizione un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e una terrazza. La struttura è nuova, pulita, moderna e confortevole. Letto enorme. È curata con un attenzione al dettaglio che raramente abbiamo trovato nella parte nord della costa est. Il giardino è bello, purtroppo non abbiamo potuto sfruttarlo perché pioveva. È a 3 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia di Pasikuda (un paradiso di tranquillità con un paio di resort e poco altro). L’host, Yaso, è gentile e disponibile, la comunicazione facile e veloce. Il rapporto qualità prezzo forse migliore del nostro viaggio fino ad ora. Insomma, se siete da queste parti, godetevi la spiaggia di Pasikuda dormendo al Dream inn!

The owner and the workers are really nice and helpful and the hotel is located few minutes walking from Kalkudah beach. You can also easily reach Passikudah beach by foot. I highly recommend staying here!

The staff did an incredible job! You feel so peaceful, in front of the beach. The food is excellent and the dinner is just exceptional! Thanks to all the staff for this wonderful experience and especially to Nishanthan and Umberto.

The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. We stayed at Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa for 8 nights and were 100% satisfied. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety - spicy local dishes, continental options, lots of seafood, fruits, and yummy desserts. It was easy to find kid-friendly meals, and the restaurant staff were top-notch. Our cottage was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable, with great soundproofing from top neighbors. Housekeeping was fast and flawless special thanks to Thasitha and Viraj for keeping everything spotless. The resort was peaceful and not too crowded. The pool was clean and well-designed for both kids and adults, with a nice bar nearby. The beach was beautiful and perfect for swimming in June. We also loved the kids’ animation. Richie, the animator, kept kids entertained with fun activities, giving parents time to relax. He was friendly, creative, and great to chat with. This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in - clean, cozy, family-friendly, and well-managed. Highly recommended!

Literally less than 1 min to the beach. Caring, attentive host. The host is so welcoming and happy to help with anything. Amazing food. Breakfast is incredible and very generous. Would really recommend having dinner at the guesthouse at least once as it’s the most amazing Sri Lankan home cooked food and very reasonably priced!!

We were quite concerned on the way there because the trip was through some interesting but desolate terrain. What a great surprise. The property is beautiful and the staff and service were superb. The food was good too.

This place is twice as nice as the Ubay Homestay I stayed at in Trincomalee for which I paid much more - $30 per night. What's better about it, besides the lower price, is: More spacious, more modern room Fewer bugs (really hardly any) Larger, less smelly bathroom Much quieter setting. Instead of being in the middle of a bunch of other places, including a loud hostel next door, as Ubay was, this place is in a wide open, peaceful setting, the only close neighbor a church. Better breakfast at the same price - 1300 Free, filtered water A larger staff, very attentive, but unobtrusive, only there when you need them The two beaches nearby are quieter and less crowded Much thanks to Usha, the owner's wife, who speaks excellent English. She welcomed me graciously with fresh coconut water and gave me another one when I left.

A small little oasis set on the lagoon and walking distance from the beach. Host Mano, a great storyteller, was a charm always making sure you had or get what you needed. Very relaxed atmosphere and a great spot to past time. Outdoor shower was one of the best showers (pressure and shower head) I had on the whole trip.
