Pokoj byl velmi čistý, prostorný, tichá klimatizace. Kousek od krásné pláže, kde sice byl strmější přístup do vody, ale nikdo na ni nebyl. Pokud si chcete zaplavat můžete kousek dál popíjet na Passikudah beach. V okolí nejsou sice restaurace, ale to vyváží naprostý klid bez turistů, což jsme chtěli. Majitelka výborně vaří a když řeknete předem, tak vám uvaří jak snídani tak i večeři. Dá se na všem dohodnout. Pro nás bylo i velmi milé společenství psů a koček kteří sdílejí společný domov s majitelkou ubytování. Rádi se sem v příštím roce vrátíme, pokud nám bude přáno. Jediná malá drobnost nám na pokoji scházela a to rychlovarná konvice a menší police v koupelně na hygienické potřeby. Ale to jsou opravdu drobnosti bez kterých se dá snadno obejít. Opravdu hezké a příjemné místo. Majitelce Krish přejeme jen vše dobré, a aby se ji dařilo a mohla i nadále poskytovat toto milé útočiště dalším hostům.

Blue Sands Beach Resort se nachází v destinaci Pasikuda a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a terasou. Pláž Pasikuda Beach je 100 metrů daleko. I arrived during a hot afternoon and as soon as I sat at the reception area, I received a welcome drink, my bags were taken to the room and the AC turned on so the room would be nice and cool by the time I walk in. Inside the room it had everything you would expect from a pricey hotel. It is only a few steps walk to the Kalkuda beach. (I found Kalkuda beach to be less crowded and cleaner than the Pasikuda beach). I enjoyed a really nice Sri Lankan breakfast during my stay.

A huge stretch of white sandy beach with essentially just the hotel on it! We had a beachfront villa which we loved. The outdoor shower is so cool and it was amazing to open the curtains each morning and walk straight onto the beach! You are assigned a personal butler for the duration of the stay and you can contact them via WhatsApp at any time and for any request. A special shoutout to Malshan here! He was so professional and very responsive to all our requests. The pool is amazing - it is huge and there are shelves on the sides you can sit and lounge in to cool down! There are books, balls, volleyball and Pétanque around here to enjoy during the day! 😊 We chose to do the destination dining and the outdoor cinema add ons during our stay and just wow. All the food was sensational throughout our stay! I recommend French toast for breakfast and butter chicken for dinner!!! There are local fishermen who work on the beach, pulling in their nets and dealing with their catch, this was a very unique thing to experience! So much more I could mention!

Facilities were amazing, food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and beyond happy to help. Room was very unique and the beds were very comfortable. Mini swimming pool in the bathroom was amazing and so was the main swimming pool.

The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. The hotel welcomes all new guests with flower necklaces and cool fruit drinks. The breakfast buffet options are numerous. We ordered a la carte lunch & dinner, and the food was always exceptional. (Note, the first night we wanted something that they didn’t have but they ordered it for the second night.) The room was ok, but all rooms come with a comfortable balcony to make up for what the room lacks. Also, the bathroom is about the same size as the room. The beach and the ocean are by far the main reason to come here. The warm ocean water is unparalleled and the hotel staff do a wonderful job keeping their section of the beach clean. The pool area is also nice, but we came for the beach and spent most of our time there. The kid space is lacking, but that’s ok as long as you aren’t there when it rains. Lastly, all the staff we encountered were professional. They helped arrange our departure taxi which actually was rather reasonably priced; meaning same price everyone seems to charge tourists 200 rupees per kilometer (rather than what locals pay which is like 120-150). Overall, I highly recommend staying here.

Kumu looked after us perfectly. We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka with loads of fruit and she prepared a superb rice and curry for dinner. Holiday Beach Guesthouse is 5 minutes walking from the beach, which is great and where there are only few people. The property is tidy and the garden peaceful. Our villa was well maintained and comfortable. We hope to come back!

Pláž Kalkudah Beach je 70 metrů daleko.... We were quite concerned on the way there because the trip was through some interesting but desolate terrain. What a great surprise. The property is beautiful and the staff and service were superb. The food was good too.

This place is twice as nice as the Ubay Homestay I stayed at in Trincomalee for which I paid much more - $30 per night. What's better about it, besides the lower price, is: More spacious, more modern room Fewer bugs (really hardly any) Larger, less smelly bathroom Much quieter setting. Instead of being in the middle of a bunch of other places, including a loud hostel next door, as Ubay was, this place is in a wide open, peaceful setting, the only close neighbor a church. Better breakfast at the same price - 1300 Free, filtered water A larger staff, very attentive, but unobtrusive, only there when you need them The two beaches nearby are quieter and less crowded Much thanks to Usha, the owner's wife, who speaks excellent English. She welcomed me graciously with fresh coconut water and gave me another one when I left.
