Just came back from a really great 2-week stay at the Dolphin Inn hostel. Perfect Dunbar location just a few blocks from the ocean with a view of the sea from the bedroom window. Minutes to the train station, with 30 minutes or so to Edinburgh. Exceptionally clean facilities with a full kitchen and simple breakfast. The bed was comfortable, the room lovely and cosy. All of the staff were super friendly and very helpful. I’d highly recommend a stay at the Dolphin Inn as the perfect Scottish home away from home.

The apartment is situated in a fantastic area, just a five-minute walk from Portobello Beach—a perfect spot for a peaceful stroll away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The apartment itself is clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed, with every essential provided from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy bedding. The living area was spacious with comfortable seating and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Heating was efficient, keeping the space warm and cozy even on colder days. What made our experience even more special were the wonderful hosts. They were friendly and attentive to every detail, making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The property was immaculate and very comfortable. Communication with Gillian from the very beginning of the booking was prompt and efficient. If we are back in this neighborhood again, we would definitely book The Bothy again. .

The hosts, Chris and Sinead, were fabulous, very friendly and helpful. The homemade shower gel was really lovely to use also. The location, about 25min by bus from Edinburgh was just what we wanted, quiet and close to the beach. The bus stop was only a 2min walk away but we had no traffic noise.

Dear Gina, thank you very much, we had a wonderful stay in our room with own Bath and „tea-& coffee-Equipment“ in your Anchorage B &B with free Wifi. We found all Equipment in there to feel always very well. Gina is a Great Hosts - breakfast was very well prepared and we could choose different very delicious Breakfastmeals. Using a train from the next viallage we arrived after 15 Minutes in Edingburgh Weyverly Station. In Addition there are bus-transfers to Edingburgh in about 1 hour driving time, bit the bus-station is 500 m from Anchorage B & B, so its psiible to take both ways to visit Edingburgh. Directly in front of Anchorage B & B there is the sea and the harbour Port Senton - a really lovely place! The view over the sea is beautiful. We had a Parking Place directly in Front of the house for our car.
