We couldn’t rate Sweet Songs highly enough! Everything was fantastic. First off the location is beautiful. Yes, it’s off a long and quite bumpy road but it’s totally worth it. The scenery and wildlife are incredible! It feels so peaceful within the Lodge. We stayed in a Casita which was also lovely. They had even laid out little petals across the bed when we arrived and we were given a welcome drink too. The food was also fantastic. Great options for breakfast and lunch, the dinner menu changed daily and they made great cocktails too. We saw no need to venture out of the Lodge as it had everything we needed food and drinks wise! Most importantly the staff were all so wonderful - they genuinely wanted you to enjoy your stay and went out of their way to help you, but in a relaxed and friendly manner. We can’t wait to come back here!

Loved everything about our stay here, it was pure perfection. If it’s available, do not pass up the opportunity to experience it. The lodge is beautiful and so well designed and presented, with lovely homely touches, clean spacious shower room, comfortable bed and bedroom with cracking aircon, great outdoor seating area, in all just cannot fault it. Communication with Hadas/Dusty was spot on, Hadas also arranged for us to do bird watching and cooking onsite with Flora, both of which were great experiences. On arrival we were met by Willy and Stinky who are both adorable and so friendly, they spent a lot of time with us when we were there! Willy was also a great swimming buddy in the river. Facilities in the lodge were second to none and also catered for our unstated needs! Fully stocked kitchen and a bonus of running bottled water. Having the river there to both cool down in and sunbathe by was a bonus and well used with the humidity at the time we stayed. The location was perfect for us, far enough from town to be remote and only a few mins drive into civilisation. Albert, the main man on site in the day, was lovely and friendly and we had some good conversation with him. The security here is also good, with an electric entrance gate and non intrusive cameras, but Willy and Stinky were the best security, making sure you knew about any movement even remotely near the property! They also slept outside our room on a night, ready and waiting for a breakfast treat in the morning! So cute. If you’re not a dog lover though, they won’t bother you, so please don’t be put off by them being there.

Lower Dover Jungle Lodge & Maya Ruins se nachází v destinaci Unitedville a má restauraci, sdílenou kuchyň, bar, zahradu, terasu, venkovní gril a výhled na řeku. Amazing place; genuine people, quality meals in a social setting, easy access to ATM Caves (you get in early). Can you ask for more as a traveler? Lower Dover property itself is also very interesting, a lot of history there, go and explore yourself!

D's Inn se nachází v destinaci San Ignacio a nabízí ubytování u pláže, soukromou pláž, sdílený lounge a terasu. Jen 2,1 km odtud je Cahal Pech. Ubytování nabízí sdílenou kuchyň a restauraci. Sharon was really nice and very helpful with lots of great advice. We are on a family back packing trip- I would definitely recommend this hotel as the family running the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. Also has a kitchen so we could cook food and has a gym next door. It’s a couple of minutes from downtown and also from both the market and the bus station.
