Given a choice of apartments, both overlooking the bay. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to leave luggage while we hiked the next day before taking ferry back to Dubrovnik.

Though it's not super-modern inside, I found the atmosphere of the place very congenial. This was added to by the kindliness of the lady that I dealt with, Ana, who went out of her way to be helpful. And the cat. There is a small swimming spot just a few metres away.

We went right before the season has begun so it was quiet and peaceful. The view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking; mountains stretching into the distance, lush forests in clear sight, and the quiet joy of morning coffee accompanied by butterflies fluttering among nearby flowers and the friendliest resident cats. Thomas and Nadine’s hospitality made it feel like a second home, and I know this won’t be my last visit. Some places stay with you and this one has settled in my heart.
