This B&B has an excellent location, 3 minutes from the Center of Haarlem, Cafes, Restaurants, Shops. Just across the street 2 Grocery Shops, in front of the building there is a bus station. We enjoyed having a superb breakfast in the quiet garden hidden behind the house. The hosts were very nice and the beds were very comfortable. We recommend.

Hotel De Dennen is located in a quiet neighborhood, 200 meters from the city centre and 600 meters from the beach. There is free Wi-Fi and a pretty garden to relax. I liked everything.. beds..spacey shower, separate toilet, balcony.. garden view.. singing BIRDS! usually I don't eat breakfast but I checked it out here.. Everything is very Dutch.. the brands.. the coffee, tea, fruit and cookies all day.. Good quality..Old fashioned Dutch quality and lovely staff who will see to your wishes Everything is very relaxed..and though Egmond is a very German tourist place this was not noticeable here.. Note : I was here just before tourist season starts You feel the eye is on detail.. And the well being of guests.. Perfect beds.. Windows can open and great fauteuls! Small table for glass and cups.. No desk but who needs it when the dunes and beach are waiting! I appreciate a rack for luggage.. Homey and all is very clean

Sometimes people write reviews and give ratings to a place while comparing it with 5-star hotels. In my opinion, each property should be evaluated within its own possibilities: whether the host has provided what they could and whether they did their best for guest satisfaction. For example, in this hostel I had to carry two 20 kg suitcases up to the 3rd floor at about a 65-degree angle. Was this pleasant for me? Of course not. But if this were my own private apartment at this address, there would be nothing more I could do either. That’s why I believe this hostel deserves a fairly high score and attention. First of all, the location is excellent – right in the heart of the city, which allows you to reach all important points on foot. Secondly, although the room was small, it was fully equipped (bathroom, toilet, sink, fridge, kettle, air conditioner). Thirdly, the host is very attentive, quick to respond, and always eager to help.
