But I'd been instructed to pay in Euros cash only, which was totally inconvenient, but the guy didn't want to accept that payment method, weird. But we got past that. The room was huge and the bed was pretty good.

The hospitality of the staff blew my mind. Osman told us it was a family business and now that we were there, we were their family too. They took care of us as such.

We wished that we had stayed another night - think about staying longer as there is more to see in the area than just Mount Nemrut and it's a wonderful area. The hotel is traditional stone, has the most amazing view and a lovely relaxing vibe. The pool is inviting and super clean - shower was great, air con and the coldest refrigerator we'd had during our trip. Our room was 3 times the size of other hotels we stayed in and exceptional value. The owner spoke good English and gave us some interesting history and insight into the area. Dinner was really nice with wine and beer, the chef cooked us some delightful chicken and fresh eggs for breakfast. Our stay was a highlight for us.

Breakfast and dinner was great (room price includes half board) Plenty of hot water in the shower, the tap water was wonderful , we filled all our empty bottles before leaving , No internet but sometimes enough air signal to send and receive messages.
