A bit cooler temperature wise and thus more refreshing than Jamestown. Comfortable with everything you need. House is big enough to sleep 4-5 people. Big kitchen and bathroom with new appliances and TV. Wifi was blazing fast for such a remote island.

Linda and Derek were very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible (fetching and dropping us at the airport; arranging tours; cooking; etc.). The breakfast was very tasty and the views breathtaking! Linda's fishcakes are the best on St. Helena!

Hotels's restaurant is best in town and sometimes it was also only open as well (on July at Sunday) Special thing, I have travelled quite a lot, but I have NEVER met so warm, caring, helpfull and nice staff than in Mantis! Absolutely great!
