House is big enough to sleep 4-5 people. Big kitchen and bathroom with new appliances and TV. Wifi was blazing fast for such a remote island.

Linda and Derek were very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible (fetching and dropping us at the airport; arranging tours; cooking; etc.). The breakfast was very tasty and the views breathtaking! Linda's fishcakes are the best on St. Helena!

Beautifully renovated historic hotel in the heart of Jamestown with the best restaurant in all of Saint Helena. Rooms comfortable with both a fan and A/C for those so inclined. The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. My room also had a small mini fridge and complimentary coffee/tea as well as a tasty turndown snack offered every evening that was well appreciated. All of the hotel staff were incredibly lovely with props to Marcia, Rejoice and Heidi for truly going above and beyond to help with local bookings, friendly tips and impeccable service. The breakfasts were delicious and the restaurant offered scrumptious meals with lots of local delicacies, produce and of course St. Helena's top quality bullseye, wahoo and tuna. Don't even bother looking elsewhere - stay at the Mantis and you'll be well sorted!

Banana Tree Lodge is set in Jamestown. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The property offers a shuttle service and features a garden and outdoor fireplace. We made our own breakfast. Perfect location for travelling by car to all the sights on the island, which would have been much more difficult if we stayed in Jamestown.
