The house, where our room was, is clean, has a homey feeling and is well equipped. It's at walking distance from the airport and also from the beach (5-10 min walking). There are very few planes per day and they are small, and don't make much noise, so no need to worry about being close to the airport. The roosters singing in the morning at the neighbouring houses are louder, which was so nice. 😁 A real treat.

The location is very quiet. Vera is very friendly and helpful. Our 2 night stay at apartmento da Matilda was the highlight of our week on Flores!

Located in Santa Cruz das Flores in the Flores Island region, Apartamento do Marquês has a balcony and city views. With quiet street views, this accommodation provides a patio. Really central to town and conveniently located closed to the ATM and a grocery store. Everything was clean. They had a fan!

Tágas és kényelmes szobánk volt. Annak ellenére, hogy tartózkodásunk alatt szinte végig teltház volt, a közös használatú tereken ez nem érződött. A fürdőtől a konyháig nagyon tiszta volt minden. Pedro pedig minden kérdésünkre készségesen válaszolt, a problémáink megoldásában is segédkezett, az egyik legkedvesebb szállásadó, akivel eddig találkoztunk.

Beautiful house with high ceilings and a stylish mix of concrete and wood. Very peaceful neighborhood, quiet and relaxing. The host was absolutely lovely and made the stay even better. Highly recommend!

Tudtunk mosni a szálláson is, ami kellemes meglepetés volt számunkra. Az ágyat extra kényelmesnek találtuk. A házigazdának nagyon sokmindent köszönhetünk. Ha kérdésünk vagy kérésünk volt, egyből segített. Sajnos a rossz időjárás miatt több napon keresztül is törölte a légitársaság a járatainkat, de még ebben a helyzetben is mellettünk állt Pedro. A segítőkészsége páratlan és önzetlen volt. Az apartman nagyon otthonos, tágas, jól felszerelt és világos volt. Külön pont a szelektív szemétgyűjtésért.

We spent Christmas in one of the apartments. The owner let us have early check in and late check out due to our flights schedule and was super nice about it. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed to prepare our Christmas dinner, and was a cozy place to spend the holidays. It was our home away from home!

Located in Santa Cruz das Flores in the Flores Island region, Abrigo do Farol features a patio and sea views. Situated on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area. First things first. It is close to the airport. 15-ish minutes on foot. There is also a convenient parking lot next to the police station nearby. It is an ideal spot when you have a car and are planning to make trekking trips around the island. The town is fairly small, so there is no problem in finding it. Owner also sent me the photo of the alley and how to get in so it was no problem at all. I´ve never met the owner but he was really respectful and straightforward in his online communication, which I appreciate. The apartment had all the appliances, washing machine, stove, microwave. Bathroom had a bidet. Although when washing clothes, you have to hang the laundry outside the old way. (good luck with the weather!) What came as a really nice surprise was a heated massage chair and a tv with good internet connection. There is also a small pier right next to the apartment so you can just go look at the night sea before sleep. It is very serene and quiet during off season. And it is all just behind the kitchen window!
