Next to Edinburgh Airport, the award-winning Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Airport offers a chargeable 24-hour shuttle service and rooms with showers. Central Edinburgh is 15 minutes’ drive away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They immediately changed our room when we figured that there was a leak. It's very close to the airport, which is a major plus. The hotel also has a shuttle bus to the airport.

Set in a Victorian mansion in 55 acres of grounds, Norton House features a luxury spa, award-winning restaurant and boutique rooms with free internet. The spa was very good. It allowed for a relaxing time. Allowing specific children times afforded one the ability to abstain or join during a slightly more raucous period. Overall it was very pleasant.
