Assem (the owner) welcomed us with open arms and he arranged everything for us, from getting tickets to the lightshow to falafel for breakfast. He was helped by his nephew who drove us around last night. They are a great team together! Assem speaks English perfectly btw, communication with him has always been great, from when we made the booking until we left. The guest house is brand new and you can tell: it's squeaky clean, the beds and bedding are in perfect state and the much needed aircon cooled us down within minutes. There's also a communal area with couches and a table with chairs. This makes it feel very homey. Definitely the best guest house we stayed at during our Egypt trip so far. I highly recommend staying here, not only for the help you'll receive but also for the very comfortable rooms and the Nubian hospitality and warmth. Thank you so much, Assem and family 🫶

Strange, I only saw this one offered after searching a little. Well, the rooms are really nice and big, with attached bathroom and plenty of space, good lights, and a writing desk. Clean, cosy and comfortable. Breakfast is served normally in the basement because the kitchen is there, but you can ask for it on the roof and they will bring. They have good plans for expansion and want to open the cafe on the roof, which is nice and big and has a great view. The people here will do everything for you if you need it, just be patient and explain with translator if you find it hard. All the staff are very kind. I had a lovely 2 night stay and would stay here again

New Abu Simbel Tourist Hotel se nachází v destinaci Abú Simbel v regionu Aswan Governorate. Jen 2,3 km odtud je Chrámy Abú Simbel. The owner Mohammed and his team went beyond everything to make the visit a success. We were welcomed as friends, had delicious meals that were freshly prepared (fish, beef, kefta) and got the best advices. We went on a boat trip on lake nasser to have another possibility to see the temples of Ramses and Nefertari. All unforgetable experiences. The room itself was also very good. Thank you Mohammed! We wish you a lot of visitors in your beautifull hotel and restaurant!

The hotel owner was really kind and honest. He told me the story of Rameses and Abu Simbel and it was very interesting. He was easy to contact through WhatsApp app. It is a 20-minute walk to Abu Simbel. It is 10 minutes away from the big(public) bus station to and from Aswan, and there are many delicious restaurants nearby. I recommend staying at this hotel for a light show in the night and visiting the Abu Simbel temples in the morning.
