Surrounded by lush coconut trees, the entire house exudes a peaceful charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the close proximity to the beach—just a short walk away. It’s hands down one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters that made every moment there magical. The house is fantastic—spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped to provide a cozy and comfortable experience. The cool sea breeze and the thoughtful layout of the house ensured we were always comfortable. It’s clear that Vaa and Joliene have put great effort into making Are Kapakapa a home away from home for their guests. Another highlight of our stay was exploring the fruit trees around the property. The coconuts were a delightful treat, perfect for a refreshing snack after spending time at the beach. Every aspect of Are Kapakapa reflects the love and effort that Vaa and Joliene pour into their hospitality. The combination of the peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and personal touches made our stay truly special. The location was perfect. The house was immaculately clean and presented beautifully. We loved the deck and being able to sit outside for breakfast.

Nice sandy beach. Great to have free kayaks and a swimming pool. Filtered water tap to fill up on water. Scooter rental on site so very easy to organise. Books available in reception. Bishop's boat cruise and vaka cruise in walking distance. 2 restaurants and one cafe all in walking distance too.

First she greeted me at the airport with the most beautiful pink ei (not knowing that pink is my color). I tried to save it for so many days. She then drove me around in the pouring rain to multiple stores around the island to make sure that I had everything I needed for my 3 night stay there. She was an amazing host who really went out of her way! The bungalow was new and very clean. Nice view!
