Sue and Tony are excellent hosts. The breakfasts and dinners served in their great room with other guests are not to miss. We enjoyed the meals and participated in conversations with interesting people from other parts of the world. Forget the restaurants in town and stay here and dine with the hosts and other guests who will feel like family before the evening is over. The facilities and grounds are professionally designed, constructed, and maintained. They are quiet, open to nature, and private within your room. Yes, the rooms do include in-suite bathroom and shower facilities. It is a non-smoking property and the fresh-cut flowers offered an enticing smell when entering the room. Everything on the property is impeccably clean. Parking is open air, ample, and non-crowded. We only regret that we did not stay with Sue and Tony for more than the two nights we had with them.

The breakfast makings were provided and topped up by the hosts. Fantastic historic old former bank/house that the hosts were doing up, and saving history. we could see how much work they had put into the project. they had a great coffee shop on the ground floor. As guests, we had the whole top floor as there was only one bathroom.

There are two guestrooms and a shared kitchen/living space with the most fantastic view over Coooktown. Our bathroom was across the living space (I believe the other room is en-suite) but it was just for us and we had no issues with that. The hosts are so charming, hardly saw them, although they live up above so they are on hand to answer any questions.
