The rooms were clean and spacious, with practical facilities (functional and not elaborate). The bed was big enough to fit two adults and two kids. The owner was also nice and friendly, giving us recommendations on where to visit and eat. I’ll consider staying here again when I visit the next time.

We stayed here on a Saturday night because we were doing one of the local ghost tours in town. They were currently in the middle of a renovation when we stayed, but that didn’t bother us. We were in a newly renovated room and it was really good. Nicely done, great bathroom, good amenities and the service was good too. The location is great because it’s a two minute walk from the main street with good local shops and restaurants. I would recommend staying here if you need somewhere in Ararat.

Our room was close to the lovely swimming pool, especially welcome on a very hot day. A small table and two chairs on the balcony. In the kitchen it was handy to have a full size fridge. A microwave as well as an electric cooktop with oven are there for a longer stay. The compact bathroom featured a rain shower. Television is connected to Ballarat stations. We appreciated the park is small, owner-run and near the main part of town. When wifi access was difficult, the staff helped out with an alternative that worked perfectly. All in all a pleasant overnight stay.
