Very warm, welcoming hosts and staff. Beautiful big, clean rooms with great bathrooms. They thought of everything: Conditioner, Blow drier, Mosquito net, Coffee, Tea, Water, Cups, Fridge. Really great! The pool has a sunsail over it so you can stay in the pool without getting a sunburn. :) The full body massage was simply amazing too - just next to the ocean with the nice sound of the waves. It said it would be 40min, but it was longer than an hour. They made it possible to get the massage last minute. We could recommend this place to everyone 100%. Thanks a lot for the great stay! ☺️

Little bit inside the city but juat 10 minuts ride by tuk tuk. 1.5 km for the main city. breath taking view of kaluthara river and kaluthara dagaba. Very tasty foods. Id like recommend any one this place. All the mentioned facilities were available 😇

Colibri Villa se nachází v destinaci Maggona West a nabízí venkovní bazén, zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu, masérské služby a výhled do zahrady. Very warm welcome. We were offered tea or fresh coffee immediately and Ganga (our hostess) asked if we were hungry (we were starving!) and prepared us a delicious home cooked meal. The villa is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush gardens and has a lovely pool. Rooms are immaculate and comfortable. Fresh coffee (delicious) and tea is always on hand and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Ganga and Upal are amazing hosts. Ganga did our laundry, fed us and Upal took my husband on a day tour of the local sites and temples (I stayed at the villa and had the most lovely lazy day) The shops and high street are a 5 minute walk away and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We had the most lovely time there and were rested and refreshed. Upal offers an airport shuttle too for a very reasonable price. We’ve decided to change our travel plans and go back there because we loved it so much. I highly recommend this place, in fact I’d say this has been the most hospitable and welcoming place we’ve ever stayed. The price is very reasonable, the time spent there is just bliss and the company of Ganga and Upal is just the icing on the cake.

A beautiful luxurious property with gorgeous sunset. Food was amazing and service too. Only an hour from the airport. Beach very quiet but the under current is very strong so you can’t swim in the sea. There is a large swimming pool to relax in though.

Very well maintained property and hotel. The staff is always ready to help with a smile on their faces. When I check-in I was offered an upgrade to one of their best villas with a pool. Very clean room and amenities. Very good and filling breakfast with a nice restaurant. Moreover, the property is just a stone throw away from the beach!

Sound of ocean and birds. Food excellent. And the most important people and their outstanding service. My host was Uneska and all credits go to her for such wonderful time in Kalutara. Don’t miss this place. Perfect to combine with another one Bawa’s masterpiece in Sigiriya.

From the moment we arrived at Tangerine Beach Hotel, we knew we had found a special place. The warm welcome at check-in immediately set the tone staff were genuinely friendly, helpful, and attentive to every detail. Our room was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated, with lovely views and a sense of calm that made it easy to relax. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything neat and fresh every day. The facilities, especially the pool and garden, are beautifully maintained; walking through the lush grounds to the beach felt like stepping into a private tropical retreat. A special highlight was the complimentary high tea they arranged for us athoughtful gesture that made our afternoon extra special. The tea service was beautifully presented with a great selection of treats and a perfect view of the gardens and ocean.
