O2 villas was a fantastic property, well maintained and beautifully built with nature and concrete blending together to give a magical atmosphere. Staff were extremely courteous and made you feel at home from the start. Food was sumptuous and fresh, very tasty and in large portions that we were so full and they provided freshly made juice and fruits that we have throughout the day. Rooms were spotless and having just a couple of villas in the property made the service very personal. Staff would play wiht my kids, take us on buggy rides where we saw so many animals, visited the dunes with us and stayed till sunset. Basically any wish gets fulfilled. Madhwa and staff were great hosts and I am very glad to have stayed 3 nights. There was enough to keep us entertained. I only regret not staying at other o2 properties in our Sri Lanka trip.

Iggabara Hobbit House is located in a peaceful, rural area surrounded by rolling hills, paddy fields, and tropical forests. The drive to the property itself is an adventure, with scenic views and charming villages along the way. The Hobbit House is an architectural marvel designed to resemble the cosiness. The attention to detail is incredible – from the round doors and windows to the curved walls and rustic decor. We stayed in one of the Hobbit-style rooms, which was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and the room was equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning and a private bathroom, all while maintaining its magical, rustic charm. The meals at Iggabara Hobbit House were a highlight of my stay. The kitchen serves delicious, home-cooked Sri Lankan meals made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Dining on the terrace, surrounded by nature, was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast, which included traditional Sri Lankan hoppers, fresh fruit, and tea, was the perfect way to start the day. The hospitality at Iggabara Hobbit House was warm, genuine, and heartfelt. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, and their kindness added to the magical atmosphere of the place. They were always available to help with anything we needed. At night, the property is lit up with fairy lights, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. 15 minutes by walk or 5 mins by Tuk Tuk, and you reach the Turtle beach and some local restaurants.

AMOUR AT TURTLE BEACH poskytuje restauraci, zahradu, soukromou pláž a terasu. Pláž Tangalle Beach se nachází 500 metrů odtud. The property was very close to the Turtle sanctuary. Very convenient to watch the turtles lay their eggs at night and then in 5 min by foot to be back in your room. The property is nicely arranged and the owner offered his services to take us by car to our next destination stopping on the way to show us a few other places.

The hotel is amazing. I had one of my best nights of sleep in Sri Lanka, the room was huge and features a really comfortable bed. There are great amenities, such as the pool overlooking the ocean, which is perfect for chilling after a long day at the beach. Special mention to the friendly staff, always willing to help.

Super-friendly family as owners and exceptional location. The garden is also great and with a lot of trees (coconut among them), bushes and little ponds, perfect for the kids. The view on the lake is beautiful - and despite that we had no mosquitos. We were the only guests at that time, the family offered a spontaneous cooking class as well. They even organised our safari with a very nice quide.

The best stay close to Yala National Park that you will not regret booking. The host family was very nice and hospitable. We also ate one of their delicious home cooked meals for dinner and had amazing breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean and the hosts are willing to go above and beyond for you. Their hospitality and kindness is amazing which made our stay here so comfortable and great.

Cinnabar Resort se nachází v Tangalle a poskytuje ubytování s koly zdarma, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, venkovním bazénem a zahradou. Pláž Tangalle Beach je 10 metrů daleko. Naprosto výjimečně misto. Romantičtější si neumím představit. Snídaně přímo na pláži, ubytování ve stromovém bungalovu. Sice se nedá kvůli kamenům koupat přímo před resortem, stačí jít po pláži cca 300 metrů až uvidíte v písku rybářské lodě. V těchto místech kameny nejsou. Dále doporučuji vynikající kavárnu, která se nachází hned za mostem. Dva kluci vám připraví vynikající kafíčko.
