We had a truly exceptional stay. Our apartment on the second floor was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. We especially loved the small terrace where we enjoyed breakfast and drank wine with cheese. The grounds near the house were lovely and green, featuring comfortable hammocks and perfect spots to watch the sunset. The hosts were genuinely nice and welcoming. We also had a good dinner at their restaurant, which is only a five-minute drive from the house. The drive to San Quirico takes about 20 minutes, and the road is unpaved but manageable. We would definitely stay here again.

The view from our room was unbelievable- all of the countryside of Montepulciano. The owners, 7th generation of this original residence, are wonderfully kind and caring hosts. Breakfast each morning in the lobby (which is a massive old world room) is homemade each day. It is steps away from the main Piazza is town. As a lover of history, it is one of the most unforgettable places I will have ever stayed.

We planned on staying one day only but kept extending and checked out 4 days later. To our benefit they had a last minute cancellation so we were grateful they could accomodate us. Raffaele also booked us at some of the most delicious restaurants, wine tastings and pretty much anything else we needed they were on top of it Truly exceptional people and customer service. For those seeking an unforgettable retreat with relaxation and authentic Italian hospitality....Le Merigge is you place! We truly cannot wait to go back, thank you guys again for making our trip a memorable one.
