The place is beautiful, even if some areas could use a refresh – but we all know that rain, sun, and heat don’t go easy on facilities. The pool is gorgeous, the amphitheater impressive, and the restaurant is good (though not cheap). The staff is lovely, the rooms are original, clean, and functional. The AC works perfectly and all the expected services are there. So, if you’re looking for a nice hotel in Abidjan, convenient for work, in a lively and well-located neighborhood like Biétry, I’d recommend Hotel Wafou.

The hotel was clean, with a modern stylish African infused design throughout. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the lagoon (room 908 was perfectly positioned). The concierge (Melvin) was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout my stay; providing me with tips of where to visit, arranging my transportation and trips. This made my stay even more worthwhile and made me feel like a valued customer.
