Excellent building and sorroundings. Friendly and knowledgable staff always smily and willing to help. Hotel in its previous lives was the cottage home of Pope and before that was a monastery!!! The style is unique. Breakfast really good and the restaurant at a magical place which used to be the cellar or some!! The menu of the latter though not at the high standards of the rest of the venue. Beds among the best i have ever experienced. Rooms are really spacious. Among the facilities there is a large pool in a green beautuful landscape around it.

The property is lovely. From the long tree lined driveway to the well kept grounds to the new decking around the infinity pool. The structures are old with updated interiors. Daniela, the property owner and host, is an architect and the new floors and other upgrades integrate really well with old stone walls, stairs and beamed ceilings. We loved our time there and hope to return.
