Plas Penaeldroch Manor is a delightful retreat nestled in the picturesque landscape of Snowdonia National Park. Our stay was nothing short of exceptional, with the manor's charming blend of historical elegance and modern comfort. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The breathtaking views of the Lledr Valley from our suite were a highlight, making our mornings truly special. The on-site restaurant offered delicious breakfasts and barista coffees!
Mike and Carrie were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was perfect.
One of the most memorable aspects of our visit was the warm welcome extended to our entire family. Plas Penaeldroch Manor is wonderfully pet-friendly, and our children were thrilled to play with Lola, the manor's friendly dog, who quickly became a favorite companion. The manor's location is ideal for exploring the natural beauty of North Wales, and we enjoyed several scenic walks in the surrounding area. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and a welcoming atmosphere made our stay at Plas Penaeldroch Manor truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this charming hotel for anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Its in a great location pretty much in the centre of the town. The breakfast was nice and you could help yourself to cereals, toast, fruit and yoghurts etc.

Stunning location, surrounded by the slate hills. The staff were very accommodating considering we arrived very late (2am). The beds were comfortable enough and the pillows were great. The room was massive, there were four of use sharing and plenty of space. Didn't hear any noise from outside and the room temp was perfect. Went to a cafe across the road for breakfast on the Sunday morning and it was brill, really nice place and good food.

This hotel is a local hidden gem in Snowdonia, I would fully recommend visiting when in the local area. Mike and Carrie are superb hosts, fully accommodating and their journey is amazing. The Gorge down the river is truly magical and worth the walk. Rooms are spacious and having a full suite is even better with all new facilities. looking forward to the summer and seeing the progress on the rear of the building. fully deserved rating and will be visiting again.

Highly recommend staying here.
Highly recommend staying here.
Staff were very helpful - we had to check-in to our room late and they were very accommodating in arranging this for us. The room was ideal for our needs - 4 of us. Bathrooms were shared - these were lovely, very modern. There was also a sink in our room. Bedsheets/linen provided. The place was very clean. There was a shared kitchen and lounge area, which was very comfy, with a variety of games and books. Ample, free, parking on the property. We stayed here prior to climbing Snowdon and the location was great for this - only a short drive away. Exceptionally good, especially for the price!

Clean and comfortable throughout with a shared kitchen and common room. Roughly 15-20 minutes walk from Ponty- Pant rail station..

We booked 2 rooms. 9 people bed room was good and was in clean condition. SIngle room was smaller than what we thought, but for overnight stay its good value for money and beds was comfy to sleep. All had a good night sleep and was ready for the next day adventure. We want one more day but it was all booked so only stayed for one night. If we will go again to Wales will try to book here again. Good big kitchen with all facilities. Liked it. Bathrooms all are in excellent and clean condition.
If you like being surrounded by nature this is a wonderful place to spend some time. The cottage is in a beautiful location off the beaten track but close to some really lovely villages. The perfect place to unwind and recharge . Lots to do nearby , pony treking , zip lining , slate mine tours , train to the seaside to mention just a few. The cottage has everything you need for a lovely holiday .
The photos really do not do this property any justice. The cottage is stunning and is located in a beautiful area. The owners were always on hand for everything and made us feel very welcome. We will be back! We were there during a storm which caused a powercut for the whole area, and we were offered extra wood for the stove, food, drinks, blankets, etc, and kept updated with what was happening.
The well equipped and comfortable cottage was in a beautiful location. There were good walks available from the door and it was ideally situated to explore the surrounding areas. Snowdonia, Anglesey, Llangollen, Llandudno and Portmeirion all within easy reach. Lots of restaurants in nearby Betws-Y-Coed.

It was a wonderful quaint, country hotel with a warm welcome and we were pleased with breakfast and the general
ambience of the hotel. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it as a venue to explore Snowdonia.
It had everything to make it a home from home and the hosts even provided bread & milk on arrival. Ty Nain was comfortable, warm and in a good location to explore all round Snowdonia and North Wales.
