Location was great, food was passable. For the price Iwas expecting much better. Hotel is undergoing refurbishment. Our bathroom was new and very nice. Bedroom not done yet. Unpleasant odour in room. Nice view of the river. Saving grace was the staff who were excellent.

Very comfortable and all efforts made for an exceptional breakfast
Just a 5-minute drive from Ballina centre, the award-winning Quignalegan House offers hearty breakfasts and 3-star rooms with free Wi-Fi. The cosy B&B is located on the main N59 road.
Ballina is a friendly and very interesting town. There are many places of interest with interest boards and murals explaining about people and places. The Jackie Clarke Collection is well worth a visit, and it is free. You can read about many people and events in the town and surrounding area then go visit them. It is clear the War of Independence and the Civil War had huge effects upon the town and surrounding area.

Ballina is a lovely town in a very scenic area. Beleek Woods are just out side the town and are ideal for walking or cycling. Lots of beaches within reach by car as well. Some nice pubs and restaurants in the town too.

Plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants in this picturesque town on the river Moy. We can see why Jack Charlton loved the place. We enjoyed watching the anglers waste deep in the river fishing for salmon. We had dinner in the hotel on both evenings and the food was great.

A lovely town, with lots to see and do in the area, nice places to eat, close to many other nice places to visit, so a good base for the area. Get out and enjoy the music and arts, and its ambition to be the most climate friendly town.

Would recommend Ballina for a break , people are lovely, Ballina Manor hotel was so friendly, staff could not do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble to them. Would definitely go back to Ballina again. Would also definitely go back to Ballina Manor hotel again.
The Loft is right in the center of town, but I could only tell from the amount of people in the ground floor pub. The hotel above was very quiet and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been kinder, helping find shelter for the bicycle I was riding along the Wild Atlantic Way. The trad breakfast in the pub was terrific. One thing to note is that there are many stairs to get to the rooms, so take caution if you have ambulatory difficulty. If you are staying in or passing through Ballina, stay here; I would again.
Our hosts were wonderful. We had a long talk about our families, the economy, living and earning a living on a working dairy farm in County Mayo, raising children, immigration, how Ireland and Mayo are changing, agriculture policy and climate change, how EU climate policy affects farm management, and our shared family friendships. Seamus and Marcela are grand people, the food was very fine, their children took our teenager into the work of the farm, and we heard about local places most tourists would miss.
We are not long back from our trip to Ballina. The property was unreal, really nice and cozy. The location is good, about a 5 minute walk to the town centre. Nicola is a great host, everything has been thought off, from leaving a welcome snack and a welcome sign to books and board games to use. I could not fault this property, it is spotlessly clean and the beds are also very comfy. You won't regret staying here! Thank you again Nicola ☺️
If your looking for an authentic irish stay without the frills but couldn't be more welcoming and real without giving up any amenities, this is the place. Eileen and Steven Mchale will make you feel at home and be attentive to any need without being intrusive. The location is rural, wild and beautiful Near to Ceide Fields, Downpatrick Head and Ballina

The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. We were on a motorbike trip so needed parking which is why we used this hotel as it had on site parking. Ballina was a perfect spot to split up our trip up the west coast.
We also used the hotel as it had a pool and sauna etc and we thought it would be nice to relax after a long couple of days on the bikes.
Lovely welcoming stay and warm local hospitality of County Mayo. Stayed here while visiting Downpatrick Head and local area. A real home from home. Enjoyed our chats and home cooked meals and you are made feel at home from the moment you arrived.
Thank you again we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Relaxing vibe, comfortable rooms, lovely location. Best dinner I had in Ireland. Spent a lot of time walking the grounds and enjoying the spa (pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna). Good breakfast. Nice bar. Enjoyed the Falcon walk with Anna. Short drive to get to town.
This is a beautiful property (rooms and communal areas finished to very high standard) in a beautiful location, between two beaches and near lots of Mayo attractions. On site animals which my daughter loved feeding every morning. Great welcome from hosts. Fabulous breakfast. Will return.
Location was good very close to town centre . Very good as a base for traveling around mayo to achill island innishchrone easkey local parks and the river Moy.. breakfast sevice was good anthing you required was catered for nothing was to much trouble.
Had the most amazing stay at The Woodlands. The hosts were beyond accommodating and made both my partner and I feel welcomed. To top it off you wake up to the most stunning view. I cannot wait to stay here again on my next trip to Ireland!
The staff were friendly. Car parking was made available. The breakfast was extensive and there was lots of it.
The hotel is centrally located. The room was a good size.
Overall the whole experience was an enjoyable one.
Big ensuite room, 3 beds big enough for our family of 4 adults, walkable to the town of Ballina, and next door to many restaurants. We recommend Dillion's restaurant were we ate delicious food.
Great location, easy to find and close enough to both Ballina and Enniscrone. Very welcoming host, very clean facilities and great breakfast to start the day!
Nice hotel in quiet setting outside of town. Great bar food,
Especially the chowder,
Large clean bedrooms,
Nice pool with sauna and steam room.
Free parking.
